History

1947: Kuniyasu Sakai established "Taiyo Paint Kogyo Co., Ltd. ".

1949: Started sheet metal fabrication.

1951: Changed company name to "Taiyo Kogyo Co., Ltd.". Sheet metal fabrication and Painting were main business.

1958: Changed company organization to divisional system. Started "Taiyo Game System" with which employees get return according to sales amount. It grew up to "Bunsha system (spin off system) in later years.

1962: Hachioji Plant was constructed.
PCB for industry use and painting/sheet metal machining business were started.

1965: Taiyo Paint Kogyo was renamed to present company name, "Taiyo Kogyo Co., Ltd.".

1966: "Taiyo Electronics Co., Ltd." was founded.
They became the first spin-off company. (Later, they changed their name to "Integran, Inc".) Since then, we built more than 40 spin-off companies.

1997: Head Office was moved from Yaguchi, Ohta-ku to Nishigotanda, Shinagawa-ku.
Hanyu Plant in Printed Circuit Company has received ISO9002 certification.

2002: Company re-organization was carried out to cope with fast changing market, and we introduced new "Intra Company System" instead of divisional system. Created three companies, Printed Circuit Company which produces Printed Circuit Board, FS Company which produces Sheet Metal and Painting process, and Manufacturing Service Company which does equipment R&D and assembly service.

2005: Hanyu Plant in Printed Circuit Company received ISO 14001 certification.

2006: Opened Shinagawa Sales Office, and Hachioji Sales Office for Printed Circuit Company and CAD Design Center was integrated and moved to Shinagawa Sales Office.
Hachioji Plant (FS Company and Manufacturing Service Company) received ISO14001 certification.

2007: 60th Anniversary Year. Anniversary ceremony was held. FS Company and Dvice Company was integrated into "FS&Device Company".

2008: Hanyu Plant 2 was established. (Neighboring land of 6,600 SQ meter was purchased.)

2009: Applied for "SME IT Management Grand Prix Awards" by METI (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry), and awarded for "Recognized company of IT management".

2010: Started sales of company's own development product demand controller, "NaCoa".

2011: FS&Device Company received ISO 13485 certification.

2012: Established a subsidiary company "Taiwan Taiyo Kogyo Co., Ltd." in Taiwan.

2017: FS&Device Company established own brand "MIKAZE" for original development deodorization equipment.

2018: FS&Device Company obtained Patent (No. 6436798) for air purifying system.

2021: Taiyo Kogyo Co., Ltd. formed a merger with Maruchu Digital Co., Ltd.

2025: Taiyo Kogyo Co., Ltd. formed a merger with KODAIHITEC Co., Ltd.
